OMGOODNESS! i miss CLARKE QUAY terribly. namely the fashion bar ppl.they are sooo nice. okay. we (me, jo-an, kandis, maybelle, serene, jacq chiu, dionne, fiona, shu xin, jasmine, gen, daniel goh, farhan, kok sheng, jason) were working at clarke quay for a 3 day event for STB. it was for the UNIQUELY SINGAPORE WEEKEND GROOVES event.*compliments of mark lim :) *i think the job rocks la.it's like $8.50 per hour.PLUS cab fare.PLUS catered food.PLUS club benefits for the 3 days.PLUS meeting of nice people.PLUS job offers.PLUS the fact that the job is damn slack.haha. i was attached to Fashion Bar to be their STAMPER. which was totally redundant cause there was really no need for stamping.but hey! who's arguing? haha.anyway. the first day, friday, was sort of media night. so there were many media ppl from Singapore, France, Australia etc.then this old, fat, disgusting media guy came into Fashion Bar.Old fat disgusting guy: so who are you working for?Innocent me :) : PICO.Old fat disgusting guy: oh. how much are they paying you? per hour is it?Innocent me :) : yups. $8.50 per hr.Old fat disgusting guy: aiya. quit the job and work for me la. i'll pay you $100 bucks per day. and i'll supply you the costumes. sexy clothing. work for me must wear sexy clothing.Innocent me: haha. no thanks. Innocent me in my head: shitass.soo disgusting la. grossness.but there were many more nicer memories. haha.it was pretty boring sometimes. but i still enjoyed it.on sat night we decided to go MoS to club for awhile.hahaha. VIRGIN experience. hahaha.it was damn squeezy la. & poor jo-an lost her phone.sighs. poor girl. took cab home around 330 am. & I FORGOT TO GET THE RECEIPT FROM THE TAXI UNCLE.argh. $21 bucks lost. heck it la. haha.sunday was the fun-est.Fashion Bar was pretty quiet that night.so i had more time to talk to one of the bar tenders.didnt get his name but talked to him alot. haha.he was really nice & he offered to help me get a job there. Attica also asked serene to work for them. i swear. clarke quay ppl are damn nice. haha.oh. ya. then maybelle came in after her shift to keep me company.& the guy made for us cranberry with a lil vodka. it was very nice! & he was damn sweet.he made for serene & dionne when they came in also.later on he asked me to come for a drink after work which i agreed.soo after work. all of us went to Fashion Bar.maybelle & i felt damn bad to get free drinks from them,so decided to order a few drinks. after ordering, MAFIA guy came to me with the bill.he was like. "hey. tell you what ok?you pay the $40 for the first few drinks then whatever you order after that is on the house."DAMN SWEET RIGHT!hahaha. i miss them so.missed you.
